The sky beneath your feet you soar, tarmac to tyre
Endless exile to a time unknown, pendulum through a dryer.
Under glyphs a static web of thorns, like a concrete briar.
The time for pensive caution has gone, you’re happy to say that you’re wrong.

Your gait might be missing, your baggage not listed – inspecting the soles of your feet
For the lines that will tell you the places you can go and numbers that float at the back of your head.
Baring your business for all to lay witness and yet there is no shame to creep
At the doorway they greet you - “oh so nice to meet you!” - now you can leave and forget that it’s there.

Mechanical messiah when you beat your wings you carry the hopes of everyone. (And) While the world is on fire, let this decay remind you all of what we’ve done.

When the ashen-faced are all gone, returned down to the earth, the new sprogs will spring up and revel in wonders of technological birth.
Multiculture evolves into multiverse, world shrink continues to grow.
An insidious form of new colonisation, cementing our place on this earth.
Endlessly give birth.
With divisions forming round a sea of hard-based memories; tell me where’s your culture?

Lost out at sea, peaceful annihilation.
Wrote back to me; to respond in kind?
Blown away with the breeze, lost in my creation.
